Episode 245: Kanan

This week, Vince and I tackle one of my favourite Star Wars series, Kanan (no longer The Last Padawan). I have been absolutely loving the second season of Star Wars: Rebels (animated series), and seeing how closely tied it is with Kanan, has made both that much more enjoyable. Episode 243: Of Bats and Turtles

This week, Vince lined up a few DC titles, as well as an epic cross-over. While we didn’t care all that much about Batman and Lex’s Darkseid one-shot, the fact is, that Batman/TMNT cross-over was absolutely fantastic. Except for that Batmobile design. Episode 241: Jessica Jones

Episode 240: Darkseid War

This week, I figured we should cover the Darkseid War taking place in Justice League. Vince has been mentioning it on and off again for a while, so I decided I’d actually binge read all of the Justice League issues since the New 52 relaunch, as I’d missed a number of them. Episode 239: Fallen Angels

This week, once again, Vince forced me to read something before reading it himself. This time, he took me back to the 80s, following reject New Mutants in X-Men: Fallen Angels. The mini-series ran for eight issues, however I could only get through four. The problem is that it is very much an 80s series, requiring actual effort to muscle through it. Episode 236: Indy and the Iron Phoenix

With all the talk of Star Wars as of late, I thought it’d be fun to go back and look at some comics about one of my passions from when I was young: Indiana Jones. Dark Horse published a number of stories, this one from late 1994 to spring of 1995. The idea behind the series was meant for a LucasArts video game, however that wound up being cancelled. Luckily, we still got the story in this limited series. As for what we’re reading, we tackled some of the new Marvel line-up… which, in typical fashion, are hit or miss.
