Episode 068: I Kill Giants
For those not “in the know”, I got knee surgery on my left knee last Friday, and recovery’s been a bitch. The surgery in and of itself wasn’t the best (improper spinal anesthetic led to somewhat excruciating pain as I could feel the scope and tools scraping under my kneecap; that is, till they shot me full of some pretty heavy duty pain killers), and post-surgery has not exactly been a stroll in the park either. All that just to say, I was a bit loopier than normal during this recording, from the pain meds and lack of sleep. Though by loopy, I mean very serious and apparently well-spoken.
This week, Vince and I tackled an absolutely fantastic mini-series that ran in 2008: I Kill Giants. Hope y’all enjoy the episode as much as we enjoyed the series.

Hey Guys – After listening to this episode I am off to buy this trade right now!
I thinks that it is great that you guys review old comic books. Gives something new to me to look for at my comic book shop.
P.S. Roger I hope your knee heals up. You should have them replaced with your knee cap with Adamantium. I hear it is a really strong metal.
P.S.S. Dan Slott’s run on Amazing Spiderman is Amazing (no pun intended). It is definitely the comic, “if I was stuck on a desert island”, that I would like to have shipped to me. I mean there is a lot good stuff out there, but he hits it out of the park every issue.
Hope you like it Shawn. We both really did. It’s a great story, and not the normal men in tights type of comic. Great story and artwork.
Also, thanks for the good wishes. Much appreciated.
