Last Saturday was Free Comic Book Day. Many were able to pop into their local retail comic book shops and pick up some fantastic issues. I’m hoping, as always, that this event has hooked many new readers, both young and old. Comics have so much to offer to readers, be they kids or old farts like me.

For those of us who couldn’t make it out, we got some free digital treats this year. Over 250 free comics were made available from Comixology and Dark Horse Comics. There were a mess of Image issues, both new and old, as well as a sprinkling from other publishers.
