Episode 160: Punisher Cross-Overs

Over the years, Vince has made me read some truly terrible comics. He’s thrived on it, in fact. When flipping through whatever crap he’s had me read in a given “bad” week, I always imagine him with steepled fingers, cackling lightly… maniacally. I never retaliated though. Until this week. I decided enough was enough. This week, I was going to make him read some truly terrible comics. Revenge would be mine. Plus, it would make for a funny episode. Little did I realize Vince would not actually read the assigned comics, but rather simply leaf through them and infer the story from the pretty pictures. Bastard. Enjoy the episode. Episode 119: Injustice… not as bad as we’d imagined

Episode 102: Drowning Daken FTW

This week’s episode started with an impromptu discussion of the latest couple super-hero movies which have just come out on video: Spider-Man and Batman. Neither of which I really cared for. Well, maybe that’s a little strong. I just have a lot of bad feels about both. There are things which really irked me a lot, and normally, I go into comic book adaptation movies with very, very low expectations. It was a fun conversation which we hadn’t planned. Episode 081: New 52 Wave 2

This week, Vince and I discuss the second wave of New 52 titles, and out of the six, only two are enjoyable… one only slightly so, and that’s because we’re grading it on the New 52 curve and as established that bar hasn’t been set very high. In our opinion, World’s Finest and Earth 2 may yield some decent results, but the other four may as well be written on toilet paper, as that’s about all they’re good for.
