Episode 195: Welcome to Lovecraft

This week, I decided we should focus on some older comics again. We haven’t had a retro episode for a while. Granted, we didn’t go that far back… just to 2008 for the start of Locke and Key. We also started the show off with some movie chatter (TMNT and Captain America 2), as well as some love for DC’s announcement of movie poster inspired covers coming our way in March of ’15. Episode 194: Gotham, Arkham and Secret Six

This week, Vince decided on a few new DC titles. There are a couple new series to add to the ever-growing Bat family; one which we quite liked, and another which we’re keeping our eyes on. And then there’s Secret Six, a series we’d like to enjoy, but which we both felt was lacking. Episode 191: Spiders and Magic Critters

This week, Vince decided to force a bunch of either nonsensical or bad comics on me. With the Avengers’ “Time Runs Out” event shifting gears, he figured it would make a good jumping on point for someone like me who hasn’t been keeping up with it.
